Vision

To be a department that is a pioneer in national and international research and education activities on issues related to international trade, and plays an active role in the developments in international trade and in solving problems.

Mission

In order to respond to the needs of our country and the global economy, thanks to the interdisciplinary courses they have taken, they have different perspectives, can communicate in a foreign language, are open to change, can easily adapt and apply new and existing technologies, have the power of analysis and reasoning in the field of international trade, and respect universal values, To train individuals who can meet the needs of the business world in a competitive and sustainable framework, with a qualified teaching staff who convey the subjects in the most effective way with a theoretical and practical perspective.

Goals
  • To educate individuals who have knowledge of the Turkish and World economy, sectors and the dynamics, structures and practices of international trade.
  • To train individuals who have a good command of the use of current information technologies and who have the competence to use these technologies in solving current problems.
  • To ensure that the graduates have a sense of professional and social responsibility within the framework of the awareness of the concept of ethics.
  • To ensure that they are competent individuals in understanding and solving all kinds of cultural, regional, political, legal and economic differences that they will encounter and put into practice the theoretical knowledge they have obtained from different disciplines.
  • To raise individuals who are effective in understanding and solving the problems of global markets by enabling graduates to gain proficiency in at least one foreign language.
  • To train creative and innovative entrepreneur candidates who know or anticipate the opportunities that may arise in the markets in order to meet the needs of our country and the global economy.
