Vision

To be a department that is a pioneer in national and international research and education activities on economics-related issues, and playing an active role in economic development and solving economic problems.

Mission

To educate individuals who can develop the knowledge, skills and competencies gained in economics according to the current conditions, apply them in the institutions and organizations where they work, fulfill their responsibilities towards the society, guide and play an active role in the solution of problems, respect ethical values and think analytically.

Goals
  • The economics academic undergraduate program aims to train economists who can work at national and international levels for both the public and private sectors, who have intellectual background, and who are suitable for the requirements of relevant institutions and conditions such as capital markets, public sector, universities.
  • The economics academic undergraduate program aims to train solution-oriented individuals who are able to effectively use the acquired knowledge, make teamwork, have a command of the economic literature, contribute to the society with scientific studies, adapt to continuous development and change in global competitive conditions, using the technologies of the era related to their profession.
  • The economics academic undergraduate program aims to raise individuals who take into account the values of the society and the world they live in, and act within the framework of ethical values, human rights and justice, while producing analysis and policies, using all the skills and knowledge they have acquired.
